Anybody know the drive belt number for my '88 37"sd deck, it's the 6 sided belt?

I gave up on the six-side belts, they turn easily, not one of WH's better ideas.  Change two idlers on the deck and one on the mule to flat, and use a V-belt.

@Rick3478  good change on that ! done a lot of related deck tweaking , and even picked up a used horse with the same deck . totally trashed , rot holes , more interested in the tractor than the deck / bagger . deck spindles and related mule drives , are the  sled drag for any horse , went after , lubrication / change / upgrade  and detail rebuild  , for quiet , easy running set ups .  make things better  and more reliable , pete

bought my 37 s.d. mower with my 312-8 in 1989 - - always loved using over 33 years -- great efficient cut and manuverable -- wonderful with bagger system for leaves - - never had any serious rot or rust but i reach underneath and putty knife clean grass chunks after each use and power wash every 4-5 cuts - i did choose to have it professionally sand blasted and primed and painted a year ago --  came out awesome - - Good for another 20 years !!! Occaisionally had a belt rollover and twist -- but usually happened only after belt was worn and got loose from wear  -  I just learned to keep pto mule properly adjusted and replace belt when worn so it rides in pulleys properly

@Brockport Bill  , the relative easy  / easy regular  maintenance on a deck pays off in spades . stay after my decks ,  clean them , lubricate them , get them some hot sun / oil soaking  underside drying . hi temp grease , in spindles / related  MOVEMENT AREAS . solid quiet easy operation .  good job on that , pete
