gris71 12 #1 Posted February 5, 2023 Hi eveyone Im new to the form Thank you for letting me join I have an issue with my tractor I have a 312A wheel horse I need to replace the transmission drive belt not sure what size it is the Id number on the left side top of the fender under seat is 2112KE03 20468 can someone tell me what size belt I need and the year of the tractor I put a 5/8"x83" belt on the tractor and it comes off (little loose) tensioner is good and pulley are good can someone help thank you 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

953 nut 55,739 #3 Posted February 6, 2023 The belt you have is an inch too long. The Wheel Horse number is # 108 501, I have had good luck with the Tractor Supply Kevlar belts, 82" long by 5/8" wide which also goes by 5L-820 or B-79. 1 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Ed Kennell 38,608 #4 Posted February 6, 2023 (edited) This is the belt I use on my 1990 312Hydro. This has the Eaton 1100 transmission. Your 1987 312A has the Eaton 700 transmission and may take a different length belt. I buy all my belts from TSC and when in doubt about the size, I buy several and return the ones that I don't use.
