Prior to pressure washing I would suggest yo remove the engine tins and clean up the cooling fins too. Never know what may be in there including rodent nests and insect nests.
Blackm84 97 #53 Posted February 9, 2023 I am going to do a complete disassemble and rebuild of the whole tractor. That will be my main mower and tractor and I will retire my lt1000. I've come to the conclusion that the wheelhorse will be better then anything I buy brand new. Only thing that concerns me is cutting my ditch and starving the engine of oil but I also heard that is only a problem in the briggs with opposed cylinders and the oil slinger.

Blackm84 97 #56 Posted February 12, 2023 So the c145 needs a fuel pump rebuild, starts on carb cleaner. I want to get it running and and change oil and see what kind of shape the motor is in. But in the meantime I have to start trying to find a new seat or seat repair kit and a rear bumper the plastic one is cracked.
Blasterdad 2,692 #57 Posted February 12, 2023 Nice! It looks like a 42" RD deck. By what I can see I don't think the snowblower is for the "C", looks like a "B" set up. Interesting "drift buster" on the front of it, just when I thought I've seen it all, Lol. Not sure about the plow either, the mount looks fabricated? It also looks like the hitch housing on the back of the transmission is busted on the "C" She should clean up nice!
Blackm84 97 #58 Posted February 13, 2023 (edited) yea it looks like its partially cracked for the hitch mount, I am going to ask my buddy to see if I can try and weld a piece on there if not the only thing its going to pull is a small yard dump cart. I need a service manual or parts break down especially for the front tie rods, it needs new ones but I am unsure which ones to get. I really like the b-165 both models the tags are no longer legible so there either an 83 or 84. Edited February 13, 2023 by Blackm84

Blackm84 97 #60 Posted February 13, 2023 million dollar questions is the seat and rear panel/fender/bumper going to have to check ebay. If I am not mistaken the 3,4,5 series rear panel/bumper will fit correct?

Pullstart 62,905 #64 Posted February 13, 2023 Awesome scores! You might be soon looking for an 8 speed C series for the tiller… it may push the hydro more than you like. I have a steel C series fender pan that I have no use for…. Shipping would be a killer though..

Yes i think i saw that in the bucket by chance does it have 2 pulleys? I might be hunting a new one of those as one of the pulleys was really bent up.

I think the 37" deck had a funky mule too... Edited February 13, 2023 by Blasterdad

That vinyl cabinet kick plate is genius!
