Sailman 1,299 #1 Posted January 19, 2023 Just found the Lucas X-tra Heavy Duty "green" grease at O'reilly Auto Parts yesterday. Not cheap at $9 a tube but they had several tubes. Might be coming back at other stores.
peter lena 9,088 #2 Posted January 19, 2023 @Sailman was just at my local walmart , had plenty of lucas marine grease on hand , also a higher temp / flash point rating than the green , $ 8 a 14 oz tube . was picking up lucas synthetic gear oil additive , for an up coming drain / refill . as you know its the collective drag on a pto belt drive set up that is the heat failure / drag issue . recent sell of a blower , the guy was amazed at the hand belt spin up of the unit . kind of sorry to see it go , knowing it will never have the regular maint checks again , so it goes , pete
