My question is : how much of a difference should there be between a 13 year old belt and a new one ? P/N seems correct ( GM 12624100 > Goodyear S040355 ) Just got done doing the serpentine belt / A/C (stretch) belt and tensioner pulley on the pickup . Cheap insurance. Thanks amigo . I've already finished but when I had both the belts across my fingers the new one was considerably shorter . Guessing maybe 1/2" .
