FixOrRepairDaily 26 #27 Posted May 6, 2023 I cleaned the engine inside and applying some new oil. I was going to use the gasket from the kit when putting the cylinder back on because it’s easy but I checked the valves first and the gasket is too thick. Its 0.5mm (0.02”) and that puts my valves over spec. I applied the gel gasket like in the book except it doesn’t show what to do around this hole. I was planning to do around it also like in the picture. Does it matter? It doesn’t seem to be important but I thought I’d ask just in case. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
FixOrRepairDaily 26 #28 Posted July 14, 2023 (edited) Everything is back together and running again but I’m having trouble getting the RPMs right. I have it idling ok but the governor is super sensitive now.
