No problem... it just goes faster with two guys. 'Sides clearing the path for some red on 701 parts & too crappy out to do anything around here. Lemme know when you start to build the motor I'll come over and supervise... Consensus for day @953 nut is be it these be the favorite model they are PIA to resto! Body being attached to the frame is bad enough but aligning the one ton cast iron grill so the hood will fit well is soooo time consuming.

Really lays down nice but I think he could put lipstick on a 🐷 and make it look nice. I use the same stuff out of a rattler for small pieces and it looks good. Seems it's very durable you have the patience to let it cure proper.

That's the side that shows. I need a bigger beer belly to rest it on while he hangs!

I had guessed it was for some sort of front attachment. Perhaps a sno blower? Skool us please.

jeremi3210 717 #88 Posted April 26, 2023 Looks great! Can't wait to see it in person! Makes me want to restore one of mine, iam a fan of the patina look but I've got a few that are too far gone to save that way. 2

The snowblowers I thought went through the frame, like other early 60’s machines. They are great for hanging lead for plow day! 3

I've never had a snow blower for a 953/1054 but it appears the right side hole is for a snow blower idler. Guess the hole on the left side is just there to keep it symmetrical, could mess up the aerodynamics otherwise. . 1 1
Pullstart 62,838 #93 Posted April 27, 2023 Must be half the people that have owned the big wheelers I have now have had those blowers. That explains why all the PTO stuff is missing
WHX?? 48,815 #94 Posted April 27, 2023 Thank you Richard I don’t think I've ever even saw a pic of a 953/1054 with a blower.

Achto 27,568 #99 Posted May 21, 2023 Had to take a break in my day to go see some poor chap get married. After paying my condolences to the new bride & groom crawled back in the garage to get some work done. A little further on the engine. Got the hydraulic pump put back together correctly. Mounted the tires on the rims. 1 7
