Opinion’s please

Opinions on these seats on this tractor please. Originally the B80 would have had a low back seat, right now it has a high back seat. Also “in-stock” I have this 2 piece seat.
I could care less about originality.
So?? Newer high back or two piece seat?

I like the look of the high back better. But I do like the adjustable backrest on the other one.

I like the look of the two-piece seat the best. The slotted one.

It's a matter of comfort as far as I'm concerned.

I don't use the high back portion of the high back seat, so to speak so I would be more prone to choosing the low back for practicality if the slotted two-piece seat is not comfortable for usage constantly.

Just swapped em out. The high back is definitely more comfortable…

The fact that you have both “in stock” is impressive in itself! By the way, I love that term. My shop teacher used to use it all the time and it stuck with me. I use it often when referencing anything at my house/ shop people seem to get a kick out of it! Kinda sounds like you have some kind of warehouse!!!

What about ease of getting yourself on and off the tractor. The high back may be more of an issue .....

Seriously the three piece is my favorite of all :wh: saddles. The high back I would not use except for a trailer queen it is that nice and does not belong on a worker. Hear tell they don't make them anymore.

I do like a low back for a tractor you get on and off alot and have to throw a leg over... say a yard worker. Which seat really depends on what you will use her for.

I would go with comfort . None of my horses have WH seats all replaced with seats that were more comfortable.

I’d go with the one that’s currently on it… :handgestures-thumbupright:

I never talk to my butt…weirdo  !

The two piece seat isn’t as comfy. The reason is, that even adjusted all the way back it’s closer to the steering wheel than the high back. I’m going to see what it’ll take to make it set farther back before I give up on the two piece, cause I think it’s a way better looking seat.

It's all about comfort. Which feels better and how easy for you to get on and off.  Personally I prefer the 2 piece, 3 of my tractors have them.

I find the 2 piece very uncomfortable. and "cents" it worth more money , Keep it in a box and use the high back

I'm partial the two piece seats.. probably because I have spent many days rebuilding several of them. Even making a couple pans from scratch.

For a worker, I would not risk wear on the two piece.

Worker Bee,    leave the high back on

Queen Bee,  show off the two piece

I went the other way on that Ed figuring the twos could be re- upholstered. That embossing on the high back ... priceless

I know our seat guy retired but there's gotta be others?

I was looking at the value Jim.

$300+ for a NOS or reupholstered two pc.

$100- for a new high back.

Look a little closer Ed at that high back has got :wh: on it. Quite an orginal coming from a purist stand point.

I know @BOB ELLISON was trying to repro that but don't think it panned out. So that said a high back like that = $$$$.

This '67 low back had the embossing on it Sparky... want me to send it over?

Whoops wrong pic but I did have a low back in the same shape with the imprint. It was in good shape so I razor knifed it out for shop art. :)

Good catch.       You still have young eyes.    I thought that was a $60 Northern Tool seat.

OK, if it's a Worker Bee,    put em both on the in your 401K fund.
