Your tires are probably 23-9.50-12. Maybe you’re searching for 9.00 by mistake?

I've been using Simple Tire or Wally world.

Avoid the Deestone brand because they tend to be very small.

Not sure if you Town Fair Tire in your area.  They had the same size as my original rear 312-8's.  Bought and mounted for less than $150.  In my mind having someone else mount them is a no brainer.

That is a very nice looking 312-8 you have there. I have used TiresShipped2You and was pleased with the service and quick shipping. Carlisle tires are the best brand in my opinion.

I feel like we need some sort of tire fashion show.  Various shots of aftermarket tires with sizes and part numbers so that those of us a little nervous about plunking down serious money on new shoes can get an idea of what works and what doesn't.  For my part I'm interested in seeing some skid steer tires on a mid-70s rear hub.

If you're interested in the industry standard R4 tires...

Be very cautious about your expectations.

We use both R1 and R4 at work on forklifts.

I'm..... Not impressed... With R4 for any off-road traction.

I went 24 x 950 x12 Carlise Turf Masters on my 1989 520 it has the same width wheels  ( 7" ) as your 312  and 18 x 650 x 8 on the front.

The Turf Masters have around three times more deap tread then the Turf Savers. The 24 x 950 are only about a 1/2" narror then the  23 x 1050 I have on my C-120'

I got mine a couple years back and tires are a lot higher then thay were then.  I got mine from Midwest Traction, I suggest you check every where on the enternet for the best price.

@DNoland … are you looking for a new tire with the same or similar tread pattern, or AG style tires? Or something in- between?
I have these on two of my rigs and anytime someone asks about tires I use the opportunity to brag about em!
Carlisle All-Trails are the brand and type. 23x10.5 on the gray tractor and 23x8.00 on the red tractor.

Carlisle All-Trails

If'n I had a hankerin' to buy some new tractor sneakers right now I'd be after these.

I REALLY like the fact that the traction is equal both forward and reverse.

The aggressive "Z" pattern is well known for excellent traction over many brands and a long proven history.

I like the All-Trails too. I have a set on my modified 312-8. Mine don't look as good as Sparky's 1050 but I went for height. mine are All-Trails II 25 x 900 x 12. With a round tread only the three center treads touch the grade on hard ground.

I wonder if you reduced the air pressure that you might get more rubber on the road.

That would work unless the tires are a stiffer sidewall and main core.

No these were designed for UTV's, hard compound to last for running on hard pavement, dirt and gravel in an industral setting. I haven't had any trouble with traction. They were made rounded, I knew that when I ordered them.

I just think your 1050 look better. They work great for what I use this tractor for. only reason to let air out would be lose sand  and we don't have any, only hard red clay.
