I agree with Don on the "trailer hub" upgrade. It's the best option, and can handle the most abuse. I don't think they come in anything smaller than 1 inch though.

 

But the wider bearings in my pic is about the best option for 3/4 axles.

Absolutely. 

I've done the changeover on another tractor. 

Works Excellent.

I literally have NO bearings in my front wheels though and can't put any in. 

I'll be getting more fluid fill soon and updating the front axle.

And- I don't think I'd use them if you already have significant wear in the knuckle where the factory bearing rides.

I have done the 4 lug 1" trailer upgrades before, however, on the 18 Auto these a factory 1" and the bearings are in excellent shape. Not to get off topic, but the "bearings" have no "bearing" on the weight to ground distribution?
