Ed Kennell 38,169 #5 Posted December 23, 2022 Any Wheel Horse is good to have. Having the Peerless transmission, the B-82 is limited to lawn mowing. Most wheel Horse owners opt for a horizontal engine with the stronger Wheel Horse gear drive or Sundstrand, or Eaton Hydro transmissions. c-series don 8,703 #6 Posted December 23, 2022 I agree with Ed, I’d opt for a hydrostatic transmission if it’s just for mowing. I actually prefer them anyway because most came with hydraulic lift. I like the C-series tractors because they are simple and easy to work on. They also don’t have all of what I think is is that unnecessary electrical crap that usually ends up causing problems. He was getting along in years and hired a lawn service. He was visibly sad to see it go, however I assured him it was going to a good home. Occasionally I send him pictures of it, which he said makes him happy! I didn't do anything to the paint except clean it! If I remember correctly it has around 800 hrs on it.
