I spotted this trailer on Route 1 in Scarborough Maine today.

When I noticed that every single point of movement on that roll up door had a grease stain, I immediately thought of our own Greasy Pete.

 

Figured he would get a kick out of this along with a few of you folks.

And clearly, with the replaced segments, a maintenance department that prefers repairing the door over simple discard/replace!

My snowmobile trailer had grease fittings on all the hinges.  The grease keeps out water to prevent freezing and pushes out the road salt.
