Achto 27,565 #54 Posted December 24, 2022 Back in post #10 of this thread I posted a link for some heated gloves & said that I would give a report on them. First try was this morning, -1 with 25+mph winds running the walk behind snow blower. I was outside for about 2hrs. So far I would give them an 8 on a scale of 1-10. Hands stayed completely warm. Finger tips were slightly cold but not any where near the point of having to endure pain while warming them up. I had the gloves on their highest setting and had about 2 hours worth of battery life yet after I was done. I'm assuming they are lithium. Unlike the ni-cad batteries lithium won't develop a memory and you will actually shorten their life by totally discharging them. My Ridgid cordless drills just shot down when the batteries get to a certain level so the operator can't run them too low. Kinda nice but there's no warning and you can bet that I'll be in the most awkward spot ready to drill that hole or run that screw in when I pull the trigger.....and nothing happens. 2 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Battery end of the cables are the same as most new Android phones. The batteries are replaceable and take about 5 to 6hrs to recharge. Milwaukee M12 batteries may be a bit bulky to jam into a glove. As for the price of their gloves, it seems in line for something with the Milwaukee brand name on it. Believe it or not, the Milwaukee gloves are not the most expensive heated ones that I have seen.
