Later model 16 horse are referred to as OHV for sure. 1974 model year the 12 horse was a flathead but the 16 has a separate valve cover box up on top. It's clearly an overhead valve engine but the serial numbers do state, HH. Interesting part about that is some of the small engine repair guys and other sources online refer to them as OHV160. Don't be afraid to give them a call. Both of the guys that worked there tried to help me out by placing calls and emails on two different days not knowing that the other one had already done it. Neither one of them ever even got an answer. I gave him the wall bro number above and of course it just popped right up. Special bonus... Several dollars cheaper than anywhere online. Back when carbs were largely rebuilable, we had a whole shelf of kits, manufacturers used to have different levels of kits from..gaskets, to gaskets and needle/seat, then gaskets, needle/seat, shaft bushings and float pin, jet needles...depending on how deep you wanted to go. Now we are lucky to find a basic kit. But Walbro was pretty easy, K1 or K10 was the basic kit, K2 or K20 was an expanded kit that fit more sub-variants, there was some K24s and others...it got pretty complicated when they started offering the same carb in 20 different formats and you started seeing 35pc gasket kits.. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
