I'm glad we recently got a gas station close to me that sells ethanol free gasoline! I used to go 30 minutes one way to get ethanol free gas and then my father in law got a big tank of it down at the farm and I would get it there and pay him. This fall a sheetz put in an ethanol free pump during a remodel that is 3 minutes from home. My galaxie is gonna be thankful for that!

Hey those VP jugs, do you like them? I was thinking about getting a couple, but had been seeing mixed reviews online.

It’s a pain trying to pour out of em when they are at 3/4 or more. I have a small battery powered pump I lower in the VP can and fill my small fuel tanks that way. I did just buy some plastic thingy’s that go on the pour spout to help it bend as they want to kink.

Just used one of those yesterday for the first time.

Definitely very handy!

I don’t understand the question Ed.
But what happens is, as you’re tipping the full or nearly full jug to pour it the fuel starts coming out of the spout before ya can get the spout in the tractors fuel tank hole. And if you try to bend the spout it kinks real easily. It looks rubbery but it’s actually fairly rigid.

This is what I meant Mike.     It lets you tip the can further before the liquid comes out.

Got it!
Hmmm… might have to experiment with that method.

Just no good way to tip these jugs when they are full.
So I used my battery powered fuel transfer pump and filled my 308. Quick, easy and no spillage :handgestures-thumbupright:
