May or may not eventually get there. You bring up angle control. After I get done building this C-160 Automatic I'll have an extra valve, hoses, and cylinder. Maybe a future project there.... I'm thinking of something along the lines of the newer joystick loader controls--one lever handles both lift and curl. And on a gear-reduction steering tractor, a suicide knob makes for easy one-handed steering Note also that on your plow truck, forward and reverse and braking all come into play--trickier than simple pedal motion control on a WH. DONE. You'll need a side lever like this: I have two of them. you MAY even consider swapping out the ENTIRE Hoodstand. I agree about the awkward position, my Dad had a No Name 16 Auto with a snowblower on it. Lots of hand motion & switching hands to operate the motion control & lift lever. I have a No Name 12 Auto I've considered swiching to a side control as I have all the parts to do so, but I also like the "uniqueness" of it so I decided to leave it original. I only use it to pull the cart around the yard so it"s not that bad, it's my dedicated cart horse so to speak, or I just get her out to run her. ( It's got the wrong sticker on the hood & different PTO but she is a '73 No Name Auto ). 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Inspectorjoe 471 #32 Posted December 19, 2022 When I bought my 14 Automatic, it had an extension on the motion control lever. It did make it a little easier to use, But it had a fatal flaw,. In neutral, it was tight up against me, so I couldn't go into reverse. Maybe the guy who installed it was small. I certainly am not. 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

It can be easily swapped out as @daveoman1966 pointed out. I received the parts from AZ tractor and dave walked me through it.took me about a hr to swap out.
