BIG storm

Post card quality pictures, looks so tranquil and beautiful.       However I can hear the Poplar branches cracking and dropping to the ground and the snow blower firing up once the snow slows down a bit.    For now just put another log on the fire and enjoy the beauty.

Post 75 I'd measured 10". 

 

It snowed for several hours after that too. 

I think it stayed right around that total though.  

This was VERY DENSE snow.  

 

Even our Ariens beast of a snowblower was actually working today.

You kidding both 520s gassed up & ready to go. A REAL 502 ... ahem Kev... with a new plow scraper. A well stocked shop fridge. What the heck Dan ther is bloody mary stuff in ther why did we not???

Five projects in and plenty of wood for the shop so snow me in.

The camera processor judged that overall there were differing amounts of color in the image and compensated. Snow is very hard for even the best cameras to judge automagically. On some cameras, you can control WB when setting up to capture the image but it's extra steps and for the level of precision I need it's easier to fix it in post processing!
