Probably close to your longitude (Cortlandt, note the "T"). Not steady, but some strong gusts. (Our house is normally extremely quiet and when we can hear the wind we know its strong.) Achto 27,577 #58 Posted December 15, 2022 Woke up to about 4" to 5" of wet heavy white stuff this morning. No time to do any thing about it this morning. So I jumped in the truck, turn the magic knob to 4x4 and trudged me way through the slop to get to work. Looking forward to getting home to play with my snow equipment. 1 more hour before I break free of the salt mine.
Ed Kennell 38,178 #59 Posted December 15, 2022 1/4" of freezing rain till noon ...all rain now. 36F now but will probably drop below freezing tonight.
Achto 27,577 #60 Posted December 16, 2022 Had fun playing with my snow equipment. The walk behind blower and my C145 with the plow made short work of the wet heavy mess. After moving snow my C145 filed a request for a new drive belt. Silly tractor sat all summer & didn't say one thing about wanting a belt, had to wait until it was time to go back to work. 2 6
EB-80/8inPA 1,641 #61 Posted December 16, 2022 Sleet all day. Maybe an inch or two here and there on the road, but nothing major. Raining now and mid-forties called for overnight. The forecast 6” or so may have happened, but did not accumulate. No biggy.
rjg854 11,362 #62 Posted December 16, 2022 An inch or two of wet sloppy snow, and looking at the radar it's almost out of our area. They called for 5-10 inches of snow. I would say we made out pretty well.
Sparky-(Admin) 21,318 #63 Posted December 16, 2022 Nuttin but rain and wind here in central Connecticut. Power dropped out for 30 seconds this morning…other than that it’s been uneventful

The Freightliner Guy 1,327 #68 Posted December 16, 2022 (edited) Well today is probably the first day of the week it decided not to snow which kinda makes me sad because no plowing peoples driveways so no money making but atleast we still have enough snow to throw snow balls and ride my snowmobile in the back yard and go sledding Edited December 16, 2022 by The Freightliner Guy

Darb1964 1,042 #71 Posted December 16, 2022 This is what we have in the Berkshires of Massachusetts so far. Ten inches or so of wet heavy snow. The tire on my small yard man snow blower would not hold air so I tried the foam, seems to work out good. Darb 2

ebinmaine 67,515 #75 Posted December 17, 2022 Still snowing right along this morning. Official back deck gas grill top measurement is 10". Will be ❄️ ❄️ ❄️ ❄️ for several more hours. Excellent classic Nor'eastuh storm! Here's a video of the dooryahd... A few pics. Zoom in from above. Note the downward curving poplar tree. These next two were taken one right after the other but the zoom changed the color tone for some reason. Here's another (poplar?) Leaning towards the side deck. 3 sequence pics. 9:45 yesterday morning. Yesterday 3:06 PM. This morning 7:30 or so. 1 1
