Lucas just sold off there pulling series, hope they aren't going through hard times.

As I recall there was a "supply chain" issue getting at least 1 of the components...

 @John c   @ RANDY LITTRELL  ,  you can also use the  lucas marine grease , very hi temp rated will stay with  it , my local auto parts , auto zone has it  . seen it in a number of  related auto stops .  I  am in ledyard  ct  . typically shopping in groton ct  , near the sub base . walmart  might have it , pete

I've seen the marine grease while searching for the HD x-tra,, I thought maybe it was a newer version of it or something.

 

So is there any indications if the HD will return or not ?

@John c   seams to be erratic  with availability  and  stores ,  you could check out your local  auto supply stores , on line  for stock , call ahead and get what you can ,  seen it in the small tubes , would like to have the answer , the marine grease  has the high temp / stress rating you want , regularly  cruse thru  auto stores , for something , ask them if they can check other  same brand stores for stock .  they can probably  get it thru them ,  was told the HD  will be back , but with everything on a ship some ware.  might try a  heavy equipment site , hope you find some , pete
