ebinmaine 67,513 #3 Posted December 11, 2022 Retrofitting the drivetrains of classics or even newer non emissions regulated vehicles will become more prevalent as the years pass. I'm not of the mindset that I'd like to see a good old rough cammed engine vehicle make basically no sound... But.... For a daily transportation or general worker. Absolutely.

The idea probably came from the brand managers or stylists. Those folks live and think in a different world. If they decide that the exhaust note is a vital part of the brand image/identity, some 'lucky' group of engineers will get the assignment to invent it. Zeek 2,286 #8 Posted December 12, 2022 (edited) IF had to be FORCED into an electric vehicle, I think I would look at this (ha, ha ). . . they do it better than Tesla in my opinion, not banging a tesla though if you're into that. Either way I'm Charleton Heston with that gas/diesel . . . pry it. The problem is we need gas/diesel/nuclear to produce and power these vehicles. With current technology, maybe it's not saving anything, it's just moving it somewhere else Edited December 12, 2022 by Zeek
