Panther416-8 341 #1 Posted December 9, 2022 Going to order some chains for the front tires and trying to decide which is the better choice for traction and steering with a 2 stage blower. 2 link ladder type with V bars or diamond type with twist link. 16x6.50-8s. I realize the diamond type typically are better for not getting in the grooves of the ag tires and helps with side to side sliding but I think the ladder type with being 2 link wouldn't be a problem with links being in the grooves as there would always be some on top of the ribs. ebinmaine 67,467 #2 Posted December 9, 2022 My experience shows me just when I think I've got the 2 link V bars tight they move again. Look at what the pros use. Loggers. Skidders.
