I HAVE A 1988 OR 1989 252-H HYDRO WHEEL HORSE WITH A BRIGGS&STRATTON INTEK 17.5 HP. I HAVE TO FRONT OF THE FRONT ON THE TRACTOR UP ON A CHAIN FALL AND AM TRYING TO REMOVE THE CLUTCH I'V TAKEING THE BOLT OUT FROM THE PULLEY AND UN PLUG THE CLUTCH. NOW YOU I NEED TO USED A PULLER TO GET THE CLUTCH OFF THE SHAF OF THE ENG? OR LOWER IT SO AM ABLE TO PUT THE DRIVE BELT ON THERE? THANKS FOR ANY REPLYS OR INFO.

What belt are you replacing. It shouldn't require a clutch pulley removible to replace either belt. There may be belt guards in the way that need to be removed to get the belt in place.

I don't have much knowledge about your model but I don't think that you should have to remove the clutch in order to change the belt.

I have never owned a 200 series  and the attached manual has no guidance on drive belt installation. My guess is that the mower deck belt will need to be removed first and then reinstalled after the new drive belt. All of the electric clutches I have dealt with needed to be removed with a large bolt threaded into the center of the clutch. It may be 5/8',3/4" or larger. The belt pushes the clutch off the shaft. This may or may not be the same as your clutch but look inside to see if there are threads in there.
