HELP WITHC BRIGGS STRATTON / DAIHATSU DM 850D

Hi ! i´m having some troubles with my toro 523 dxi , engine runs rough and hard to start .....and finally engine does not start . I have found that one of the distribution ports of the diesel pump is clogged so there is no fuel in one of the cylinders. So i decided to disasembly the diesel pump  ......but i need some advice how to do it .

 

I have repair manual from toro ( https://www.toro.com/getpub/13225 ) .....But there is no info about diesel pump rebuild

 

Anybody has rebuild manual for the diesel pump?

Diesel pumps are not for the novice to tear into. I will tear apart & repair almost any thing on an engine. But, I myself would take the injector pump and injectors to a professional to have them serviced.

 

If you do wish to tackle it yourself then you will need the service manual from Briggs & Stratton to get your engine information.

See if you can find a shop that could provide a rebuilt unit or even rebuild yours. Maybe in Bilbao? The fuel pump is unfortunately the "heart" of this engine, and a very complicated one.

yes guys i know diesel pumps are not for newbies , but i have been dealing with cars , motorbikes , or anything with wheels and engine since i was 18....so i´m not afraid about diesel pumps .

 

i have found that all the fuel system on this engines ( DM 850 D) is provided by denso , the pump is VE type and luckily i was able to found a DENSO for VE pumps , that covers service and manteinace .( this manual is in spanish)
