peter lena 8,624 #129 Posted April 22, 2023 @19richie66 , nice write up , suggest , using lucas heavy duty high performance 80-90 trans / diff oil , with " climbing gear additives " ,like a very light STP type of slinging / sticking lubrication . since going to that , and regularly using every available gear / ratio , it just works easier / smoother , quieter . also do a partial fill at a highest available area . recently started adding a TYE WRAP , JUST AFTER MY SHIFT BOOTS . prevents them from leaving the area , also give them a silicone under spray , so they slide / move easier . pete

Been spinning round and round with everything. Put up some pics of the shed soon. The building now has a roof and hopefully soon it will be enclosed. As for the D, it has a mockingbird nest on top of the transmission. I’m letting the squatters have it till the babies are gone and then I will pull the transmission and install the new gaskets. Then I can fill it with fluid and hopefully start it and test out my coupler operation. Believe me I want to work on it. Soon……. 19richie66 17,500 #136 Posted June 10, 2023 (edited) Well, no tractor update but we do have siding going on. Won’t be too much longer. The rough concrete area to the right will eventually be filled in and smoothed out for a simple slab. Edited June 10, 2023 by 19richie66

Didn’t scrap it but not spending anymore on it. I do have plans for leftovers but nothing anytime soon. Just some things are more important.
