You do good work with cardboard. :ROTF: I would round that top right corner. Those sharp corners always come back to bite me.

Love me a cheez-it box. The plate will get rounded over.

Time to mock up the dash tower/  mounting plates

I'll bet she's gonna be an 800-pounder when completed!

As always- excellent fab work! :bow-blue:

I think they were over 1000lbs stock. I’d be happy with 800 as long as it moves. If it doesn’t, I’ll just slowly fade away…….

Well whatever it weighed, it's gonna be about 300+lbs extra. That's a good thing!

And I'm sure it will work great!

I’m sure it’s in here Richie, but are you going with a driveshaft, or another type of power transmission from the 3 speed to the rear end?  Looking great!

Another chain and sprocket. I think I am going to flip the rear axle like they did in the Panzer for ground clearance. Of course then forward will be backwards and I’ll just have to modify the motion linkage a little. The pinion bearing and axle bearings are greased anyways. Gear oil is just for the ring gears and internals. We’ll see. This will give me a shorter rear chain as well.

Last side panel cut to fit. Need to shorten the trans dipstick and figure out this 3 point. I have some 3”x 5” angle I think I’m going to use to build new uprights. I have a plan…….. :handgestures-thumbupright:

I thought you was pulling my leg.  I couldn’t wrap my head around it.

No it’s flipped due to the direction the driven shaft spins off the engine. I put it correctly because it would spin the right direction the way this is set up. But flipping it, I would just have to change the direction lever on top of the transmission.

transmission dipstick done ☑️

Thanks. I can’t wait to see if it works. If not, I’ll gut it and make a smoker out of it. :laughing-rolling:
