RED-Z06 2,221 #26 Posted December 3, 2022 Tell yall a weird one, i put a new plastic one off ebay on my magnum and it worked poorly, kept failing to produce volume...bypassed it and did a vane type wired to the acc pin on my key...it worked about 4 hours and something melted, plastic was hanging out the outlet into the line. Tractor was like a mile from home...of course...i hooked the plastic pump back up, hoping...and it cranked up, has worked fine ever since, this was in March of this year. Biggest problem I have with plastics is the stupid snap in elbows leaking

I made a plate to mount it to the engine in place of the stock mechanical pump. Looks like you have a couple vacuum (?) lines going somewhere behind the magneto plate. What's up with those? That's just the way I ran the vacuum line from the fitting in the mounting plate to pulse port on the pump. The line coming in the bottom right side of the pump is the intake side. The line on the top left side of the pump is the outlet to the carburetor.
