Devere Locke tractor info

I just got this Devere tractor and would greatly appreciate any info you have on it

I’m guessing that’s a rare brand. What engine does it have?

Almost added one of those to my heard. They are an interesting tractor, most of the engineering looks like "OK, how we gonna make this work :confusion-confused::D Still a cool tractor though. Not a lot of info out there on them from the research that I did a few years ago. I believe that it should have a Kohler K241 under the hood. If I remember correctly, the PTO end of the crank is kind of different which makes an engine swap a bit difficult. Try to save the engine if you can.

 Yes it is a K 241 , the tractor seems to operate but it might need belts as it seems slow .

Nice :handgestures-thumbupleft:... muffler is a Cub. Thought the exhaust piping might be odd until i noticed the motor is 180 out from a horse.

It is home made , the pictures i have seen used a straight down muffler
