Attachment of ant-sway bracket to belt guard bracket

Recommended Posts

Hi folks, I'm a little lost on how the anti-sway bracket attaches to the belt guard bracket on a 2 stage 79361 blower. I'm mounting this on a 416-8. The manuals don't clearly show which holes to line up for attachment that i can see. There are only 2 holes in the anti-sway but 4 holes and a U notch in the belt guard bracket. Does the clevis pin and hair pin go in the hole I'm pointing to I'm the first picture? Does a bolt go in the hole in the second picture and that bolt lone up with the U notch of the belt guard bracket?

Here is a photo showing the bolt and pin positions.  The bolt at the front is to have a spacer to provide a small amount of clearance so that the part can be slid in without loosening the bolt, at least in theory.

Thanks lynnmor.  Something looks different on yours. What is that black plate? Is it something under the engine? I don't have anything like that

The black plate is the engine mounting plate on a 520-H.  Your engine mounts directly to the frame.
