You can post your situation there and might get a response. You'd probably be surprised at the number of times members have helped move tractors, implements, parts, etc. for other members. I've done it myself a couple times. If you can get the tractor safely secured on a pallet, there are LOTS of shipper options (just google "pallet shipping"). I've not done this for a tractor, but I have done it for other goods--I even built a shipping crate atop the pallet for extra protection. Pullstart 62,905 #53 Posted December 21, 2022 Where is the tractor at currently? I’ll be heading to ND come spring time. I know it doesn’t get it to WA, but it gets it pretty far.
Outlier 57 #54 Posted December 21, 2022 I put a note in the Haulin' Help section, just in case. Link @Pullstart The tractor is stored in Zionsville IN right now. You're post gave me an idea - Fastenal might still work, if I can get it to a "West Zone" store on a pallet... Once in the western Fastenal truck system, should be able to arrange for delivery at the Lewiston store near me. come spring, if nothing else has worked out, I may reach out to you again. @Handy Don I'll check into the pallet shipping people, that may be the best bet.
Outlier 57 #55 Posted January 26, 2023 I know you're all on edge for how this turns out... It made it! The logistics were magical with 3 legs and a week wrapped up in a tarp somewhere in the middle. There are surely a lot of great people out there, I'm thinking of three in particular. I'll start another thread now for my rapidly growing list of technical questions. Couldn't be more excited! Took it for a spin and the kids loved it too. As promised: 4

Ah yes, I am a sensible family guy so of course it followed me home one day. Almost exactly as I found it and still waiting its turn... '57 210 townsman with a 327 and Muncie 4 speed. As soon as I finish (AHEM) a couple other projects, my goal is to learn to be a car guy, fix a few things and daily drive it. 2 3
