What is the Clinton engine numbers? I’m curious if it’s original correct Clinton engine…..also which recoil does the engine have? Thanks

Looks to be great resto project. I think it is deserving for that.

Nice Ben!  What’s the big one behind it on the trailer?

:woohoo:                                        :text-coolphotos:

Nice find, has a bit of body work needed but it is all there.          :confusion-confused:           Wonder what the two small lifting eyes were for?

Nice Score!! :handgestures-thumbupright: Judging by how the back tires are installed. The last owner must have been using it as a competition puller on asphalt. :D

It is the original Clinton 1290 but unfortunately it’s missing the recoil start.

Looks like a PO did a lift handle up grade on that RJ. I thought only the Suburban's came with an adjustable depth stop on the lift handle?

AMC RULES

Thinking that is a late in production RJ that is transitioning over to the Suburban model tractors.

Will take some researching here but I'm pretty sure I remember at least one surfacing here in the past decade.

I too, picked one up today that has a Suburban style steering gear, front axle, & tie rod setup on it too.

Mine appears to have the lift sector mounted on the frame with the original model#, ID tag still in place.
