Picture of D-160 Kohler PTO Clutch Brake

I really need to see a picture of the PTO clutch brake on someones D-160 Kohler single. I cant figure out where it is supposed to rub? Thanks

Sorry I have D200.  I think D-160 Kohlers are not that common

Does the brake pad face the block, and which side is the brake bolted to the bracket, the inner side or the outer side. Thanks

IIRC the brake is mounted with the pad facing the inside grove of the PTO pulley in about the .... 7 oclock position?

 

The couple I have had with the brake still on was worn and looked like a pain to keep adjusted so I just removed them and I did away with them. My blades will stop spinning within 5-10 seconds so I didnt really see the need for one.

Well thankfully I havent lost ALL my brain  -- thats exactly where I thought it was mounted, but was a bit unsure about how the pad was facing and guessed wrong on that part :eusa-think:

Thanks, I bought a reproduction clutch brake from a member here and I was going to return it. I may just keep it even if I'm not going to install it. I thought it might have been the wrong part or that my PTO was missing a piece or bracket for it, but all is good now
