The above guys are way off base Jim.  :confusion-confused:  It is a 16" x 1 1/2" x 1/4" piece of steel with 4 holes...2 in each end...holes appear to be for carriage bolts.

Seriously, looking at the parts list...it could be part 122...#3605 Tie Rod??  Checkout the manual.  :occasion-xmas:

I respectfully disagree. Not the tierod plate. Perhaps part of an accessory that was on the 502 at some time??

It does resemble a drift cutter for a snowblower, eh??

Not a problem Bill...I just looked at the manual and did not really see anything that matched.  I have owed 2 502's and not seen this part and I have had the snow-blower and other attachments.  It definitely looks to be Wheel Horse, but I did not go through attachment manuals for the 502.  Jim's "so called 502" has a lot of things going on with it...could be from a John Deere.

It does look like it would have a couple of "U" clamps in those holes...maybe for headlights.  I would like to know where Jim found it.  Was it in a pail??  Did he take it off the horse??  Where??  Sometimes, we never get all the information.  :confusion-confused:  :occasion-xmas:

It was with with the foot lever hoobie doo stuff that engages the deck Dino. The tractor came with a deck and a front plow but the plow seems complete and works like a champ. I have yet to try and fit the deck up. Leaning towards this gal being a dedicated plow rig.

Not a fender brace Bob nor a drift cutter Bill.

The rest of you :occasion-clown::occasion-clown: are about as useful as t1ts on a bull...

If here it would end up being a knee brace for the shelving out in the shed. :D
