Wheel horse 520hc

Hi y'all, I am looking for some parts for my 520hc and some help. First off I have a picture below of the front end. I would like to get new bearings and tie rod ends for everything to do with the axle and the wheels. Second I need to removed the steering wheel to fix the battery gauge. Third I need to confirm that the rectifier is bad because it is over charging the battery.

You can get a cheap trailer wheel bearing kit and most parts will fit.

A vendor on this site has tie rod ends, but they rarely wear out.

If you thoroughly warm the dash panel with a hair dryer, usually you can get gauges out.

The Onan Service Manual, available on this site, gives the testing procedure for the regulator.

tie rod ends

I've never seen the 520 tie rods worn out- they are beefy.

BUT you may need new boots for them. I've been using the ones below and they hold up well.

Contact Lowell @wheelhorseman for parts. https://wheelhorsepartsandmore.com/

Second I need to removed the steering wheel to fix the battery gauge.

There is a roll pin that goes through the steering wheel and steering shaft that needs to be removed. They can be a bit of a challenge.

Third I need to confirm that the rectifier is bad because it is over charging the battery.

If your regulator seems to be overcharging the battery it may not be properly grounded, clean and tighten the mounting point.
