Hyd.manifold o-ring replacement

Recommended Posts

gmushnick

Need to know where I can purchase the o-rings and sealer washer for my 1975 d200. Just purchased it, 5 minutes into my first use, it pumped all the oil onto the ground. Hoping one of the tubes isn't cracked. If anyone can tell me of a reputable place for parts, I'd appreciate it.  Thanks

:WRS:

Had the previous owner removed the lines or something of that sort that allowed such a massive leak?

I do not have a "D" but the "O" Rings are available  through McMaster-Carr. The square cut "O" Rings for the Sundstrand are #011 to seal around the bolts 4061T116 and #021 to seal the pump oil lines 4061T126. The "O" rings mentioned were for a Sundstrand hydro gear.

Perhaps @pfrederi, @Hodge71 or @daveoman1966 can chime in, they all have "D"s and know these transmissions inside out.

Thanks for the response. I don't believe it's been apart. The tractor has a loader and while trying to scoop some dirt, I hit a buried stump. I'm thinking one of the tubes may need to be rebraized. But while I have it out, I'm gonna change all the o-rings

Are we talking a transmission hydraulic leak or a loader hydraulic leak?

Trans.fluid, it came out of the flat plate with the 4 lines going in. After it stopped moving, I took the seat off and started it real quick, and could see bubbles and hear air  from around a tube. And all the fluid was running down from that area

Just went out and started it and oil came out of the big tube towards the front, leading me to believe that it's gonna need a rebraize.

I had a loader on my D160 and could not keep that plate sealed. I think it was the frame twisting slightly when using it with loads. I was on the verge of flaring and putting JIC nuts on the tubes and making it tube to hose.

Ended up putting the loader on a 520H and it performed just as good if not better. Steered way better with the reduction steering on the 520

The high pressure tubes have o-rings and backer rings and only go in one way.

Kind of went back and looked at my old loader pics.

I had the weight box mounted to the three point. This may have been my flex issue??

I know I ran it a couple years no issues. Even changed out the tubes, and the problem was still there, not a leak but a seep.

When I do a loader subframe now, I extend it out from under the rear axle and put the rear weights on the the subframe.

May be... My subframe runs the length of the tractor and holds the counter weight

You can look it up on McMaster with the Dash #  015 (2)      #018 (2)    #018BU  (2)
