Kohler Courage no crank

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I am having a problem with my TroyBilt with Kohler SV620-0215 engine.  I'm still rebuilding my 42" deck for my 800 work horse so have to use my troybilt.  I was mowing and vacuuming leaves with my cyclone rake.  When I shut down the TroyBilt to empty the cart as I usually do (parking brake lock never works for more than a couple seconds so I shut it down) it would not restart.  It did nothing (like a blew a fuse).  Let it sit overnight and tried it early afternoon.  Got a little reaction on the AMP meter and could hear the fuel solenoid click.  That is it.  It does not try to crank at all.  Any suggestions greatly appreciated.  Not fun in the middle of leaf season!!

Thanks!

I recharged battery last night and will work a test light on the safety switches.  I am hoping it is the parking brake safety switch as I applied it several times due to it "popping" off all the time.  Thanks agian

Thanks everyone.  It was a simple fix.  One of the plastic safety switches stuck a bit!
