sifter vibrator  pad spring  on my seat center , bolt on a size to size fit  rubber snubber to trap and hold spring . another experiment , also regularly use springs to chase / maintain tire chain  installation  and use .  100 lb   rotors ,    works for me . pete

@Pullstart   BUSCH VACUUM PUMPS  were used to vacuum draw product from industrial  exchangers , we had buildings that were always using them , the slots on the rotor held a carbon fiber .  food grade  insert , unit was horizontally mounted in a water jacketed  steel sleeve , as it spun the carbon blades, would fling out to the sleeve and make a vacuum seal . allowing you to extract tons of product . PFIZER  made many food grade concentrates , like caffeine , artificial hoops  for beer , penicillin . we had metal bins for every kind of metal . and  glass , running non stop 24/7 , being in maintenance , we were constantly rebuilding and replacing equipment . getting a pass for used  metal was not a problem , used to regularly dive glass lined tanks , 2000 k size , for inspection and patch work .  what I  used to do , pete

Excellent info @peter lena. I know similar pumps out of manure or slurry tankers and many pneumatic motors use the same kind of setup. Well atleast with a metal rotor with plastic or carbon fiber vanes in it.

Pete - good repurposing of a scrap 100 LB part for added traction. Takes up a lot less room that 100 LBs of feathers, too!! :ROTF:

Are your rear tires fluid filled?? That makes a huge difference - and puts the weight where it is not an added burden the the Unidrive axle bearings / seals...

I add about 100 LBs of lead ingots to the toolbox under the seat on the 854 8 speed for the winter, makes a difference...

You need Heavy Duty tubes in the tires - no regrets, a C series rear tire holds 4-1/2 gallons of liquid - ww juice or RV antifreeze - 7 lbs per gallon - leave a small air space -  mount the chains, inflate to 15-20 PSI - golden!!

I run the filled front tires all year long - no issues.

I use the rim guard beet juice little more expensive but no rust no freezing and it’s like 11 pound per gallon. I think my 23x10.50-12 held close to 7 gallons each.   I know I bought 15 gallons and had a few gallons left over.

I have never used tubes with the beet juice either.  I haven’t any any problems
