Pcyco13 4 #1 Posted October 28, 2022 I have a 416-H with a front loader. Is there an adjustment for the linkage or drive belt? It's the slow boat to China in forward and I'm wondering if this can be adjusted. It seems to go faster in reverse. Is a new drive belt a solution?

953 nut 55,744 #5 Posted October 28, 2022 Remove the motion control tunnel cover (between your knees) and take a look. Mine wouldn't go very fast in forward when I got it, turns out chipmunks had been nesting there and the front of the tunnel was full of bedding and acorn shells preventing the lever from going all the way forward. 2

My 520 has the same issue and needs adjustment there almost every year. I'm about ready to remove the dash control lever altogether and install one on the lower shifter area. At least there won't be anymore extra linkages to contend with... Edited October 29, 2022 by kpinnc
