WheelHorse_Kid 355 #1 Posted October 26, 2022 This is my first tractor that my dad surprised me with when I was 6 or 7 and I was so excited. My dad got it in New York the state.when we tried to start it it had a knocking inside the engine so we opened the engine and it turned out that someone didn’t tighten the bolts holding the connecting rod to the crank shaft.we realized that it was smoking and even shooting out a little bit of fire. Now I fix up push mowers and stuff like that and sell them for money I’m saving up for a rebuild kit because we never fixed the smoke.I’ve also plowed snow with it a few times and it’s original paint and it needs a seat. 9 5
Heatingman 971 #2 Posted October 26, 2022 Very cool. Good luck on the motor overhaul. Ask questions here when ever you have one. Lots of knowledge here from the members of the site. 1 1
Pullstart 62,905 #3 Posted October 26, 2022 Thanks for sharing your stories Alex! I’ve got one for you now. Hopefully it didn’t come from one of your tractors, but somehow your dad lent a 3 speed transmission to his buddy in 2018, to get a 656 going. I ended up buying the tractor at the Big Show and eventually selling it and shipping it to Germany! Here’s a picture of me on the tractor, then it arriving at @Tractorhead’s home in Bavaria. 1

It definitely didn’t come from his. Come to think of it I’ve forgotten what it came from. 1

Matt you have a YouTube account? That's the preferred way to post by the Red square site. Is this the little fella that has a plow from this Bear 🐻?

Is this the little fella that has a plow from this Bear 🐻? I don’t have a YouTube account but can get one made at some point. the snow plow is his older brother Aiden’s. Aiden used to be big into these things but he’s a teenager now. Other things get in the way. But he still is very much a part of the tractors with us.

WHGuy413 2,693 #13 Posted November 2, 2022 (edited) Hope this works for you. Here’s the couple second video of Alex driving his 1077 we nicknamed “old smokey” towing his older brother Aiden who’s sitting in a recliner playing on his phone. During a snow storm too boot. I always get a chuckle out of this video when I’m scrolling threw my gallery on my phone. https://youtube.com/shorts/7a3gTWnwljI?feature=share Edited November 2, 2022 by WHGuy413
