horseyheaven 113 #1 Posted October 25, 2022 Hello everyone. My 520 with Onan P220 just started overcharging. It used to run between 13.5 to 14 volts all the time. Just began burying the gauge at 16 or higher. My first thought was rectifier/regulator is sticking. I tapped on it and there was no change. Any other thoughts on things to try? Thank you. Reg/rec is all solid state, tapping on it won't do much. My guess is a bad ground to the body of the reg/rec, or that the reg/rec is bad. Before you order a reg/rec though check your voltage with a multi meter, could be that your volt gauge is bad. Edited October 25, 2022 by Achto
