But first you should check the bearing for wear by pushing on the axle. There should be no up/down or front/back movement. In/out is OK If the bearing is bad, you must split the case and replace the bearing or the new seal will also leak. 3 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Then go to the top of the transmission forum and some charts are posted to lists of today's seal and bearing numbers available locally.
