Pullstart 63,081 #4 Posted October 19, 2022 I’m not much of an Eaton specialist, but I believe as long as fluid has been pumping through, you check it without the engine running. @pfrederi @JoeM @19richie66 @lynnmor might know?

19richie66 17,522 #7 Posted October 19, 2022 (edited) Manual say check oil while it’s cold. I have always checked it before staring it. Here is a copy of the manual. Just double click it. Edited October 19, 2022 by 19richie66

Some of the 11's will back drain a little and can run out the dipstick. People add to them right after they are run thinking the oil level is low and then they are over full. The pump pulls off of the bottom of the sump and would have to get extremely low to do any damage. I like checking before the first start of the day. 1
lynnmor 7,352 #9 Posted October 19, 2022 Check the oil with the engine off. If you change the oil or leave the tractor sitting for a long period of time, start it up and drive it forward and backward a bit, also run the lift up and down a few times to purge any air. Check the oil after it sits awhile.
