8ntruck 7,020 #2 Posted October 18, 2022 How well does it work with tires that are glued to the rim by rust?

These rims were pretty clean, but I was fighting old stuck tires and the sidewalls kept collapsing. It improved my dismount by about 55 minutes per tire!
squonk 41,158 #4 Posted October 18, 2022 I improve my tire swap times by taking them down the street to a tire shop! 1
Pullstart 62,916 #5 Posted October 18, 2022 2 of the 4 old tires still have pretty decent tread on them. 23x11-10’s. Pretty perfect for a swept axle front tire set up! @ebinmaine would be proud!
pacer 3,173 #6 Posted October 18, 2022 I picked up this tip from ---- somewhere? I have the larger one of HF's tire changer and was having a fit trying to 'break' the tire loose from the rim. Using very little pressure on the handle the tire would separate......

Sure, but most times the rim is off one of those "yeah, that ole tractors out back in the pasture!" kind and gonna need paint anyway. Also, one of the reasons they're stuck so bad anyway. 2
