I wrestled with some old tires for far too long today!

How well does it work with tires that are glued to the rim by rust?

These rims were pretty clean, but I was fighting old stuck tires and the sidewalls kept collapsing.  It improved my dismount by about 55 minutes per tire!

I improve my tire swap times by taking them down the street to a tire shop! :)

2 of the 4 old tires still have pretty decent tread on them.  23x11-10’s.  Pretty perfect for a swept axle front tire set up!  @ebinmaine would be proud!

I picked up this tip from ---- somewhere?

I have the larger one of HF's tire changer and was having a fit trying to 'break' the tire loose from the rim. So, somewhere I heard to apply heat around the area of where the bead was -- propane, whatever - I used my oxy/acet and by golly it really made a difference. Using very little pressure on the handle the tire would separate......

I called the owner of the side by side last night and told him I was about to throw them in the wood boiler!  :laughing-rolling:

Sure, but most times the rim is off one of those "yeah, that ole tractors out back in the pasture!" kind and gonna need paint anyway. Also, one of the reasons they're stuck so bad anyway.
