Greentored 3,215 #1 Posted October 17, 2022 (edited) Hope you are all doing well! Thought id share the highlight reel from our ride at Good Evening Ranch offroad park a couple weeks ago. This group was pretty much the hardcore crew, names like Mr. Studabaker, Creepycrawler, Redzz02, Hot Lap, Be Destructive, Redneck Tractors, Thierys Tractor Ranch, and others. Hurricane Ian drenched us, but we powered through it and had a blast! A keen eye and ear will pick out my 'B-1 bomber' with that healthy 20.5 Briggs opposed twin. Wheel Horse strong!!! Pullstart 62,916 #3 Posted October 17, 2022 That interview with Hot Lap about the Charlie Horse was interesting. @ebinmaine he stretched his 3-5/8”. Pretty good conversation. (Colossus) 2 1

Pretty good conversation. (Colossus) Yes sir he did, and that little bit makes a huge difference for hill stability. Check out his youtube 'Hot Lap' for how he did it, its pretty cool! They keep pushing me to do a stretch as well as a few other things, but I am trying to keep it as much 'tractor' as possible. I could literally unbolt a few add ons and the B-1 could go back to a factory machine in an afternoon 3

Know ive said it a thousand times, but this is a true testament to just how beefy and well built our Horses actually are. Aside from gusseting the spindles and adding some form of bracing at the trans, not much else is done to them to make them hold up. Catastrophic failures are extremely rare.

Makes me look bad I guess... all I do with my 800 Special is slide around the back end a little in the mud when it rains... and I feel like the king of the jungle... By the time it rains again here... I will have forgotten how to do that... Don

Greentored 3,215 #10 Posted October 18, 2022 Sincerely appreciate the open mindedness toward these shenanigans, fellas Promise I still have a handful of nice, working Horses that are left alone and used for their intended purpose haha. 2

Sparky-(Admin) 21,339 #12 Posted October 18, 2022 Looks like a blast! I was surprised that I don’t see more machine wheelie up and over on the hill climbs. Are you guys adding weights up front that I’m not seeing? Other than the obvious weight of a winch.

Don't misunderstand my previous comments- they are yours and you enjoy them. I got a feeling that no matter how you do it, ol Elmer and Cecil meant you to do just that. Better than them rotting in a shed. At least you are getting use out of them! 1 1

We are all running anywhere from 1.5-3 gallons each of RV antifreeze in the front tires, heavy steel used for the front bumpers (a few with concrete) and a couple with engines and seats located a bit further forward, as well as some real good clutch control. Most of them will crawl around a 35 degree incline, any more than that requires a run at the hill. Thats when it can get real sketchy haha. 3
