B-80 and some heavy wheel weights

Recommended Posts

Chris G

I went and picked this one up today and some wheel weights! I'm not to sure of the weight of them. They are heavier than normal. Any info on them would be great.  But I got a good use for them. Got a project I'm about to start!

All weights are made by some vendor. Some put the vendor name on like the Rowe and some will put the tractor name on (Bolens I.H. ect.) some companies will spec a certain stamping. Wheel Horse weights were made by "somebody."  I've seen them on brand new AMF's &  Cub Cadets. In fact I bought a set of weights from a guy who bought a Cub brand new in 71. Had the white weights that everyone thinks they are "Wheel Horse" Economy used weights identical to Farmall but spec'd a "W" stamping on them :confusion-confused:I have a set of 12" IH weights on my Power King off of  Cub on the front and Farmall A weights on the back. Same as the factory except for the stamping.

Them IHC weights are only around 25 lbs each.

If Chris's weights are on the heavy side they gotta be 55 to 65 +/--

Yah saw that now Sqounky...good eye.  @cschannuth any idea how much they weigh? Or didn't you weigh them before putting them on. BTW Craig whole different machine in this blow sand of a hill I live on with a big ole weigh & chain box hanging off the back!

We see them IH weights at show flea markets and guys are quite proud of them.
