Stormin 9,981 #1 Posted October 11, 2022 The widow of a friend and fellow club member who passed away recently, phoned me tonight to ask if I knew anyone who would be interested in his Wheel Horse and trailer. So in the morning they are going to be introduced to their new owner to be. ME! With no objections from SWMBO. Bit of rearranging to do in the workshop to make space for the tractor before they're brought home in a couple of days or so. To be continued. 5
stevasaurus 22,668 #2 Posted October 11, 2022 Is the steering wheel on the left or the right?? Sorry Norm, I think a lot of that is going to be happening in the near future. It is happening to me also. 1

ebinmaine 67,086 #4 Posted October 11, 2022 My condolences for the loss of the friend... My congratulations for the gain of a VERY nice Horse. Looks like what would be our stateside 74-77 B or C series with an 8 HP Kohler?

kpinnc 11,828 #7 Posted October 12, 2022 I think that the previous owner would likely want his machine to find a home with other horses that are loved and treated well. As Eb said, my condolences and congratulations as well.
Retired Wrencher 5,426 #8 Posted October 12, 2022 (edited) Sorry for your loss of a friend and your gain of a tractor. Enjoy your new ride. I think he would have wanted it this way. Edited October 12, 2022 by Retired Wrencher

I'm calling it Eddie in his memory. Going off the serial number it's a 1974 B80. 1-0140B80. Road registered in 2015. The trailer is a single axle Saxon. I have one of those already. So one or the other will be sold on. 1

There are a few Yankees over here who collect trailers like women collect shoes. I only have 3

I understand that logic. We have the one that I normally use. The one that Trina normally uses. I have 4 ((??)) that are in states of disassembly. We also have the log splitter which kind of qualifies as its own trailer.
