Kohler 161 7HP Dead

Never did see what the magneto set-up looked like under your flywheel. Here is a picture of my K161 before I found why I had no spark.

 

Is this the same as yours?

Is there a kill switch circuit? Could that be shorted, or intermittently shorted?

Something like it, but my condenser is on the outside. I will take a pic as soon as it stops raining .

There is a kill switch and it works as it should. I even disconnected its wire where it ties into the coil secondary. Needless to say: no effect.
