What's the best way to cut the PVC straight? Important question... What's the required thickness of the PVC? I know the outer tires need to be lower air pressure. pacer 3,168 #10 Posted October 8, 2022 A - largeish metal lathe would be ideal. My 13x36 would prolly do it with the chuck jaws reversed. The problem here is getting the end supported, I'm not too sure my steady rest would go that big. Make a little jig with 90 degree angle that slides on mitre slot. use a strap to hold the pipe loosely on to the jig, and slowly rotate the pipe. Sorta like this, just picture a larger piece of PVC.
