Pullstart 62,905 #1 Posted October 6, 2022 (edited) I can’t believe how small the round hood looks here! I was looking around for something to mount a squirrel cage on, so I can take our “Snoot” or “Snooter” for short, on tractor rides. The black hood kind of eats valuable belt real estate on the WHRat! SylvanLakeWH 25,596 #2 Posted October 6, 2022 Hhhmmm… I’m gonna say hood size matters to the delicately designed and aesthetically precise lines of the WHrat WHrod… I mean, seconds, maybe minutes, were spent lining up that beauty so as to accentuate it’s supple curves and linear features… On the other hand, meh… Throw it together and run with it… but save the “this side up” sticker…

After all, it makes a great work bench, drink holder, or all around catch all. Might as well use it to hold Snoot upright and suckin’ air! 1 2
Handy Don 12,233 #4 Posted October 6, 2022 So what was the largest engine in a round hood, a K181? And the fuel tank was either on the engine itself (LR Tecumseh) or integrated into the hoodstand. No need for a lot of extra tin.

Well, my guess it was this model the 633 Diesel Beast .... it's only 7.5 horsepower BUT I THINK THE TORQUE RATING WAS OFF THE CHART!
