Searcher60 209 #1 Posted October 3, 2022 Thanks in advance, you guys are great! I need to make 2 standard tilt levers for dozer blades I have. Can you tell me if the steel is 5/16” thick x 1 1/4” wide? What is the overall length? How far up from the bottom is that offset 90 deg. bend, and how wide is the offset bend? Other than that offset bend, is the lever straight from top to bottom? Thanks again!
daveoman1966 3,745 #2 Posted October 3, 2022 The flat stock steel bar is 5/16" x 1-1/4" wide. Here are the other dimensions.
JCM 9,130 #3 Posted October 3, 2022 Does anyone have a similar illustration on the angle lever used with the 520-H with the front extension set up ?
daveoman1966 3,745 #4 Posted October 3, 2022 This is the index lever, but I don't have the dimensions...except that it is also 5/16" x 1-1/4" wide. 1

peter lena 8,589 #6 Posted October 3, 2022 @Searcher60 , done a number of improvements on that lever set up , another thing I do is to roller stool around it while checking its function , along with its hook up point . red grease , is excellent or every movable point , note the lever pull rod response , used a small channel lock plier to snug up the pull point , eliminating play. freeing up any related point , makes that lever action , much easier . different yet related , detailed in my plow steering quadrant , swings with total ease , slide pin works like a rifle bolt , also added a male/ female heim joints on that long pull rod , pete
peter lena 8,589 #7 Posted October 3, 2022 @Searcher60 , also use ,https://www.amazon.com/INCREWAY-Hair-Clips-2-15-16- 54817&psc=1 these clips on your rear axel frame point , only using picture as reference , local h/w store , also push them all the way thru to last big end hole , will not fall out , pete

I have one of those in the garage on a plow until this weekend. If there’s any measurements needed before I send it to the new owner let me know.

The hole measurements on the left, and eye bolt hole, are all from the left side very end, the one on the right from the very right end. All bolt hole measurements are to the center of the hole. I have a complete 520 dozer extension kit for sale, but the handle is expensive to ship due to offset and length.
